Nayifat Finance Co.’s (NFC) board of directors approved today, June 21, the appointment of Chan Kok Veng as Acting CEO succeeding AbdulMohsen Al-Sowailem, effective from June 23.
Chan Kok Veng, a Malaysian national, serves currently as product development advisor at NFC. He earned MBA from Liverpool University in 2019. He has over 30 years of experience in the banking sector, with respect to growing Islamic and conventional retail banking, cards and payments businesses. He held several banking positions in Saudi National Bank, formerly National Commercial Bank, and Riyad Bank.
