Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment said that 49 deals valued at $925 million were signed in the second quarter of 2022, according to its latest investment highlights report.

The ministry oversaw 49 major deals, which are set to create around 2,000 new jobs in the local economy. The deals were closed in the real estate, tourism, and entrepreneurship sectors.

The report sheds light on the investment developments in different sectors in Saudi Arabia, focusing on the growth potential of the tourism sector.

The National Investment Strategy (NIS), through which Saudi Arabia is targeting economic diversification and numerous investment opportunities, is further easing investor entry into the market through well-aligned incentive packages and regulatory frameworks, the ministry concluded.
