The Ministry of Commerce stated that the total number of steel export licenses offered in the Kingdom rose to 276 by the end of July 2022, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.
The ministry added that 15 of such licenses were granted this year.
The licensing process takes place after fulfilling specific conditions and requirements, in accordance with the regulatory controls of the Ministerial Committee formed from the Ministries of Commerce, Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, as well as Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
