ACWA Power Co. started the operation of Phase B of the 300-megawatt (MW) Shuaa Energy 3 project, ahead of schedule.
In a statement to Tadawul, ACWA Power said Phase B is part of the 900 MW Photovoltaic Solar Power – Independent Power Project (IPP) Phase V of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park located in Dubai, UAE.
Total capacity under operation has now reached 600 MW, the statement added.
The company expects financial impact from the full capacity of 900MW to start from Q4 2023.
ACWA Power owns a 24% stake in Shuaa 3.
