Tadawul trading screen
Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) closed Monday's session with a loss of more than 300 points (-2.8%) at 10,419 points; reaching its lowest close in 18 months, i.e. Since May, 2021.
Thus, the index deepened its losses to reach about 3,500 points, a decline of more than 25% since the peak reached in May 2022.
Tadawul's benchmark index TASI recorded on May 9 its highest level since 2006, reaching 13,949 points.
Most stocks moved lower since the peak reached in May, 2022, topped by Al Rajhi Bank - the heaviest weight on Tadawul - with a decline of 32%. It was followed by Saudi Aramco with a drop of 23%.
