Umm Al-Qura Cement Co. announced that it obtained, on Dec. 17, a mining license from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, to exploit limestone in Taif, according to a statement to Tadawul.
The license location is Taif-Radwan-Taif/Riyadh main road, the statement said, adding that the license is valid for 10 years, until Aug. 29, 2032.
The license area is 23.77 km, the cement producer said, adding that the license was issued in accordance with the Mining Investment Law issued under Royal Decree No. M/140, dated June 11, 2020, and its Executive Regulations.
