Russia banned the export of oil and oil products to the countries that adhere to price caps.
President Vladimir Putin issued a decree today to ban oil sales to countries and companies that comply with a price cap as of Feb. 1, 2023.
The European Union (EU), G7 nations and Australia introduced a $60 per barrel price cap on Russian oil over its invasion of Ukraine, Argaam earlier reported.
