Saudi real estate sector provides SAR 2.5 trln investment opportunities: Al-Falih

The Saudi real estate sector accounts for SAR 2.5 trillion, or 20% of the Kingdom's total investment opportunities worth SAR 12.4 trillion, said Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, citing the National Investment Strategy (NIS).   

    

Furthermore, investment opportunities in public utilities and tourism sector make up 9%, or about SAR 1.1 trillion each, of total available opportunities in the Kingdom, the minister said on the sidelines of the second edition of the Municipal Investment Forum (Furas) held in Riyadh.   

    

He also stated that the transport sector’s opportunities represent 14%, or SAR 1.7 trillion, inside and outside cities, while communications and information technology (CIT) sector accounts for 7%, or nearly SAR 1 trillion.   

    

Al-Falih pointed out many investments will be available in cities.   

    

The current estimates of the NIG show that the realization of Vision 2030 requires tripling annual investments, which will result in accumulated investments of more than SAR 12.4 trillion, according to data available with Argaam.
