Banan Real Estate Co.’s board of directors appointed non-board member Abdulaziz Al-Arifi to the audit committee, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The appointment is effective from Feb. 20, 2023, until the end of the current term on Dec. 25, 2025.
The board decision is subject to the shareholders’ approval during the next general assembly meeting, the statement added.
Al-Arifi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from King Saud University. He has 20 years of experience in the field of internal auditing, governance and control. Moreover, he is a member of the American Society of Auditors.
