Edarat Communication and Information Technology Co. (Edarat) signed a contract worth SAR 5.1 million today, March 6, with Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS), for cloud hosting services, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The contract will offer private cloud services for a governmental entity via Azure Stack HCI hosted in the Kingdom to meet data sovereignty regulations.
The private cloud services cover compute and storage nodes to host one of the governmental entities' main applications.
The contract will be valid for 20 months and is expected to positively impact the company’s financials as of 2023.
MIS is a related party to the contract.
MIS owns a 40% stake in Edarat, according to data available with Argaam.
Edarat was listed on Nomu-Parallel Market in December 2022.
