Naqi Water’s production line
Naqi Water Co.’s board of directors approved on March 12 the resignation of Vice Chairman Saleh Alsulami (non-executive board member), effective the same date.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company pointed out that the resignation was submitted citing personal circumstances.
Meanwhile, Yousuf Al Ghafari was appointed as Vice Chairman and Abdulaziz Alsayegh as Managing Director, in addition to his position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), from March 12 until the end of the current session.
Alsayegh holds BA and EMBA in business administration. He is on scholarship and a member of the Saudi Young Leaders Exchange Programs (SYLEP) in the United States.
He has extensive practical experience in the areas of management, strategic planning and business sustainability in the industrial, retail and services sectors. Before joining Naqi Water, Alsayegh held several leadership positions in different companies. He led multiple departments in Naqi Water since 2017 until he was appointed CEO in 2020. Moreover, he participated in the completion of many developmental, strategic and organizational projects during his career.
The board’s decisions are subject to the shareholders’ approval during the next general meeting, the statement added.
