The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's flag
The Ministry of Energy announced that the Kingdom advanced 10 positions in the Green Future Index after two years from the launch of Saudi Green Initiative by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
It also ranked first in the Arab world and 20 globally in emissions reduction.
Further, Saudi Arabia took the first rank globally in the growth of renewable energy production. In March 2021, the Crown Prince launched the Saudi Green and Green Middle East initiatives, according to data available with Argaam.
