Saudi Chemical Co. Holding (SCCH) received the necessary regulatory approvals to launch pilot operations at the military industries complex, according to a statement to Tadawul.
SCHC will duly announce the date for the start of commercial operations, in addition to any other developments.
The relevant costs as well as the financial impact will be determined after completing the pilot operations, the statement added.
In March 2020, SCHC announced the start of construction for the manufacturing facility for explosives and military products, with a total investment of SAR 1 billion over the next five years, Argaam reported.
In June 2022, the company announced that the project construction works, including production lines, buildings and security systems, were completed, Argaam reported.
