Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy Abdulaziz Bin Salman signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Micky Adriaansens, Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy in the Netherlands.
Under the MoU, the two countries will enhance cooperation in the energy fields including renewable energy, energy efficiency, electricity and other related industries relevant to the energy conversion including green hydrogen.
The MoU also seeks to manage the international mutual supply chains and collaborate in the technology as well as solutions related to eliminating the impact of climate change, including the circular carbon economy.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam, in which Bin Salman spoke of the Kingdom’s ambitions in the energy field in addition to the ongoing major projects in the field.
