The company provided communication technologies at international standards and advanced solutions to support Jeddah Summit and the accompanying media center Media Oasis.
stc implemented 60 security standards within the framework of precautionary measures that covered infrastructure protection, and intensified access verification and monitoring to ensure the safe continuity of the summit's works.
The telco raised the data traffic capacity by more than 350% on 4G and 5G mobile networks. The summit, including the government, private sector and international media delegation partners, was enabled with more than 26 data circuits of more than 200 megabytes/second capacity each; to ensure the quality of service.
The telecommunication service provider established an operations room at its headquarters in Riyadh to monitor the performance and quality of the summit network throughout the conference hours.
During the summit, the demand for data services leapt by more than 250%, while audio services increased by more than 110%, stc operations room noted.
