Jazan city
The Transport General Authority (TGA) signed today, May 30, contracts worth SAR 103 million with Jazan Municipality for establishing and operating the bus network in Jazan governorate (Jazan-Sabya-Abu Arish), Saudi Press Agency reported.
The contracts include a five-year deal with Saudi Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) to operate the bus network, and another 360-day contract signed with Pioneer Arts Trading Co. Ltd for implementing the infrastructure works for the network.
SAPTCO received in April a notification of a project award from Jazan Municipality to operate the public transport bus network in Jazan governorate (Jazan-Sabya-Abu Arish) for five years, at a value of SAR 93 million (including 15% value-added tax).
