Lumi signs SAR 42 mln vehicle leasing agreement

Lumi Rental Co., the car rental business of Seera Group Holding, announced signing a leasing agreement with Saudi Post (SPL) to supply a fleet of 855 vehicles, including 795 vans, 40 SUVs, and 20 sedans at a total value of SAR 42 million.

The agreement is effective from May 2023 and is valid for 34 months. It can be renewed upon mutual agreement, the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the agreement, Lumi’s CEO, Azfar Shakeel, said: “We are pleased to announce this landmark agreement, which represents an important addition to our solid portfolio of the current rental agreement with prominent government agencies. Our partnership with SPL will pave the way for Lumi to strengthen its market share in the local car rental market, whose has a market value of over SAR 1.8 billion. The company managed to maintain strong growth in the sector with a revenue CAGR of above 50%, since we commenced leasing operations in 2019. We intend to capitalise on this momentum.”
