Saudi Ceramic Co. (Saudi Ceramics) announced that a blaze broke out on July 15 morning in the second sanitaryware plant in Riyadh 2nd Industrial City.
Production at the plant has been halted, the ceramics producer said, noting there were no injuries or casualties.
The company and the competent authorities are investigating the incident and evaluating the full damage resulting from the fire.
Saudi Ceramics confirmed that all its factories are covered by insurance.
Any material developments will be announced later, the statement added.
