ACWA Power said it was selected today, Aug. 16 as the “Preferred Bidder” to develop, finance, build, own, operate and maintain Hassyan Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Independent Water Producer (IWP) project.
The utility will develop the 180 million imperial gallon per day (MIGD) - 818,280 m3/day - capacity plant, according to a statement to Tadawul.
