National Water Co.’s (NWC) investment portfolio for its infrastructure exceeds SAR 103 billion and has been allocated for the implementation of more than 1,294 projects, said CEO Nemer El-Shebl.
These projects include expanding water and sewage networks, in addition to the construction of water purification plants and wastewater treatment plants, he added.
The CEO also called on all interested local and international companies to seize investment opportunities in the water sector and implement the water and environmental treatment projects offered by the company on its website.
He highlighted the implementation of the company's privatization programs, starting with long-term management, operation and maintenance contracts, as well as involving the private sector in building treatment plants.
