The Ministry of Justice showed that the number of enforcement applications received on commercial papers retreated by 22% in 2023 to 299,400 from 382,150 in 2022.
Data indicated 293,480 enforcement applications were implemented on commercial papers in 2023, compared to about 372,970 in 2022.
The Riyadh region accounted for 39% of enforcement applications with about 116,910 requests, followed by Makkah with nearly 71,030.
