Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) said it has won a contract worth SAR 70.54 million, excluding VAT, from National Water Co. (NWC), according to a Tadawul statement.
The contract includes operating and maintaining water and sewage networks in the Taif business unit.
The company received approval for the contract award on Jan. 22. Accordingly, the disclosure was promptly made.
Alkhorayef Water expects the financial impact of the project to appear in the first quarter of 2024. There are no related parties involved in the deal.
Any future developments will be announced in due course, particularly after receiving the final version of the contract, signed by all relevant parties, the statement added.
