Ministry of Finance headquarter
The Ministry of Finance launched a survey on the public consultation platform, Istitlaa, to solicit public feedback on a proposed amendment to the executive regulations of the government tenders and procurement law.
The survey will run until Feb. 12.
Under the draft law, the related authorities are the Ministry of Finance, the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, the Government Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority, and the National Center for Government Resource Systems.
The proposed amendments are expected to address the challenges faced by entities implementing projects and making purchases outside of the Kingdom. They will also enable such entities to efficiently complete the necessary tasks and purchases.
In addition, the draft law aims to address the challenges facing public construction works and facilitate and govern procedures.
