One of BCI factories
Basic Chemical Industries Co. (BCI) announced the planned shutdown as of March 18, 2024, at its factory in Jubail Industrial City for scheduled periodic maintenance.
According to a statement to Tadawul, the six-day shutdown is not likely to affect the company’s ability to fulfill its obligations and provide the required products to clients.
The factory’s products are chlorine, caustic soda, hypochlorite, and hydrochloric acid.
The shutdown will not impact the progress of production in the company’s other factories or financial statements, the statement added.
