Chemanol resumed commercial production at its methanol and dimethylformamide (DMF) plants on Monday October 24 after technical refurbishments aimed at raising efficiency and capacity, the company said in a filing to Tadawul.

Production was halted on the two plants on October 12 for technical adjustments.

Both plants were set up in June 2010, and run currently with annual capacity of 231,000 tonnes and 60,000 tonnes respectively.

Chemanol produces several petrochemical products including methanol, formaldehyde derivatives and concrete admixtures.
