SISCO announces infrastructure project developments

Reference to SISCO’s announcement on Tadawul (October 18, 2008) on the signing of agreement to develop and operate the infrastructure of the industrial cities services by Tawzea (the International Water Distribution Co.), owned by Sisco and Amiantit Group (50% each); and further to the announcement on October 11, 2010 and March 3, 2012 on the operation of water services at Jeddah First Industrial City, a project implemented by Tawzea; Sisco announces the following developments on the delivery of water and sewerage services to Riyadh and Qassim industrial cities:

1- Riyadh Second Industrial City:

The water service was launched to the City’s factories with number of beneficiaries reaching 150 out of around 1000 target beneficiaries. The service is being rapidly extended to cover all factories this year, and the treatment terminal will be operational within around three months as per the project’s schedule. Final operation will be announced in coordination with concerned bodies.

2- Qassim Industrial City:

All factories and premises are now connected to the network and test operation has started at a number of factories. Final operation will be announced in coordination with concerned bodies.
