Reference to Saudi Ceramic Company’s announcement on Tadawul on May 2, 2011; regarding the operation of two old tile production lines at the second plant and the expected completion by end of 2012, the company announces:
- Two new tile production lines have been finalized with annual capacity of four million m2. Production started by end of 2012 and the two old lines were removed. Preparations are taking place to raise the entire project’s capacity to 12 million m2.
- The project shall be fully operational in Q2, 2013, now being 60% completed. It missed the 2012 deadline to avoid a three-month stoppage of old lines as expected.
