Mohammad Al-Mojil Group (MMG) announced that its board of directors on June 4, 2012 approved:
- The appointment of Mr. Stewart Macphail (British National) as chief executive officer. Mr. Macphail is an expert in restructuring programs and was chief executive of CI Financial Corp.
- Accepting the resignation of Mr. Jassim Al-Ansari, deputy chairman, from board.
- Accepting Dr. Abdullah bin Eisa Al-Dabbagh’s apology to accept board membership due to his health condition and deciding to consult the general assembly.
The company also held meeting with local banks to coordinate necessary steps for coming stage. Any subsequent developments will be announced in due course.
