The Ministry of Commerce and Industry shut down eight showrooms of United Electronics Company (Extra) for no longer than 7 days because of some violations during the mega sale period.
Extra said that lost sales based on this decision will be about SAR 2.5m daily during the shutdown period for each branch of the eight branches.
The Company added that it can make up for these losses if the showrooms reopen and the ministry approves extending the mega sale period.
