Emaar the economic city company (Emaar EC) announced today on tadawul signing SAR 300m contracts with the Saudi Electricity Company to connect King Abdullah Economic City with the national electricity network with the following details:
- SAR 175m: representing the EEC’s share of the expansion of the central conversion plant 380 kV voltage project.
- SAR 85m: representing the value of the contract signed with ABB Company to design and implement a major conversion plant.
- SAR 35m: representing the value of the contract signed with Al Sharif group to build electricity transmission lines.
- SAR 5m: representing the costs of supervising the implementation and delivery of these projects according to the specifications approved by the Saudi Electricity Company.
