Saudi Electricity, Southern Cement grant two-month salary bonuses to staff

Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) said on Monday that it will grant a two-month salary bonus to national employees and trainees in line with the company’s payment and compensation regulations.


Each bonus should not exceed SAR 50,ooo the company added.

Nearly SAR 545 million will be paid to the staff, under the recent Royal Decree issued last week, SEC said in a statement to Tadawul, Saudi Arabia’s bourse.  

Southern Province Cement Co. will also grant Saudi employees a two-month payment and a half-month salary bonus to foreigners, in line with the royal decree. 

According to data available on Argaam, King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered the payment of a two-month basic salary to all Saudi state employees, including civilians and military officers.

Some privately-held companies also chose to pay a bonus in compliance with the decree.
