United Electronics Company (eXtra), one of Saudi Arabia's largest retailers of consumer electronics, said on Tuesday that it has named Abdulhameed Al-Ohali as chief executive officer following the resignation of Karim Al Zahabi.
Al-Ohali’s appointment is effective March 10.
Al Ohali holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from Industrial Management College at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He comes with 28 years of experience, including 24 years in leadership positions at reputable companies, the company added.
He was the CEO of Al Fozan Metals Company for 15 years, and the general manager of Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance for four years.
