Gulf Insurance Group, which is listed on Kuwait's bourse, upped its stake in Buruj Cooperative Insurance Company on Tuesday after buying four percent of its capital, or 520,000 shares from United Gulf Investment Corporation.
The transaction increased the group's stake in Buruj to 3.7 million shares, representing 28.5 percent of the company’s capital.
