The company appointed new members for the upcoming three-year term and named Khalid Al-Aswad as board chairman.
Al-Aswad has served as an audit committee member at Weqaya since January 2014.
He currently serves as vice president of strategy and operation development at First Takaful Insurance, and was previously the finance manager at Gulf Life Insurance Co., reporting and treasury manager at Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Co., and assistant general manager of operations at Euro Arab Insurance Group.
Shareholders also named Hussein Al-Attal as Managing Director, Weqaya said in a statement on Tadawul.
The company also hired new auditors for the current fiscal year.
