Tabuk Cement started trial operations at its second production line on Thursday, while commercial production is set to begin in the fourth quarter, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
Capacity will be gradually increased to reach a capacity of 5,000 tons per day (tpd).
Argaam reported in June 2013 on the cement producer's SAR 531.5 million deal with Chinese Chengdu Design and Research Institute to install a second clinker line.
