Contracting works begun on a solar glass production line launched by Obeikan Glass Co. in Yanbu in the second quarter of this year, according to a statement posted on Tadawul Sunday by Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SAIC).
SAIC, an industrial investment vehicle which owns 40 percent of Obeikan, said the project’s completion has been set for the H1-2016, as a foreign partner is still in the process of registering with the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA).
The production line is a joint venture between Japan’s AGC and
Obeikan Glass Co.
