30/09/2015 Argaam

Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) has shut down its Saudi Chevron Phillips (SCP) project and Jubail Chevron Phillips (JCP) project for scheduled maintenance, the company said in a bourse statement.

SIIG will halt operations at its SCP facility for 30 days, while the JCP unit will be offline for 37 days.

The Saudi firm added that the relevant financial impact “could not be measured during the period of suspension because of price volatility.”

SIIG owns 50 percent of both joint ventures.
