The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) crept up 0.1 percent to 7,784 after a quiet day in terms of price action.

Bank stocks supported. Market data compiled by Argaam showed that the combined nine-month net profit of Saudi-listed banks rose six percent.

Petrochemicals started out soft and later surged on some bargain buying in the index heavyweight, SABIC, which closed up 1.9 percent at SAR 89.25.

Elsewhere, investors mainly traded on news flows related to specific stocks.

Zoujaj was a top loser; down 4.6 percent at SAR 30.80. The glassmaker reported a Q3 net profit of SAR 6.3 million, down 62 percent on year.

Jazan Development Co. ended one percent lower at SAR 13.50 after giving up some gains made in early trading. The company said it more than doubled its Q3 net profit to 7.2 million.

Meanwhile, Brent crude, the key benchmark for Middle East’s crude exporters, was last trading up four cents at $49.28 per barrel on London’s ICE.
