Methanex Corp., the world's largest producer and supplier of methanol, has kept its Asian posted contract price (ACP) unchanged for November at $305 per metric ton (MT).
Prices for North America for November have been cut by $17/MT to $349/MT.
Methanex’s set prices are considered a benchmark for other methanol producers.
Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC), Saudi International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem), the Saudi-based Methanol Chemicals Co. (Chemanol), and Qatar Industries (QI) are also among the top methanol suppliers to Asia.
