Alinma Tokio renews insurance contract with Al Jazirah Vehicles

Alinma Tokio Marine Co. (ATMC) has renewed its insurance agreement with Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

The insurance coverage, which takes effect on Jan. 1, 2016, will last for one year and has an estimated SAR 65 million premium.

It will cover motor, marine, and other lines of business, the statement said.

The agreement is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s 2016 financial performance.

Last year, ATMC signed an agreement with Al Jazirah to cover car, properties, and marine insurance.

ATMC was launched in November 2012 and has a strong shareholder base comprising Alinma Bank, Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Company (Japan), SABIC Industrial Investment, and other well-known local conglomerates.
