Southern Province Cement Co.’s production cost is estimated to increase by SAR 50 million in 2016 as a result of the government’s decision to raise the prices of energy, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse, Tadawul.
The Saudi cabinet last week approved a plan to hike the prices of water and energy to shrink the budget gap after oil prices more than halved in the last year.
