Sadara Basic Services Co. will halt operations at its mixed feed cracker on Wednesday for a six-week scheduled maintenance, the company said in a statement.
The company will also close down its three polyethylene trains for improvement and scheduled preventative maintenance.
Sadara added that it expects financial impact of the temporary closures to reflect on the financial results of Q1-2017.
Late in August, the company launched operations at the mixed feed cracker to produce ethylene and propylene from ethane and naphtha feedstock.
Tadawul-listed Sadara Basic Services is a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Sadara Chemical Co.
