Wataniya Insurance Co. has named Soren Nikolajsen as non-executive board director, representing Alawwal Bank, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Thursday.
The new appointment was approved by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), the kingdom’s central bank and insurance sector regulator.
It will be also submitted to the upcoming general assembly meeting for approval.
Nikolajsen, who currently serves as the managing director of Tadawul-listed Alawwal Bank, has over 20 years of experience in the banking field.
