Alujain Corporation on Tuesday resumed operations at its propylene and polypropylene plants as the regular maintenance was completed 36 hours ahead of schedule, the company said in a bourse statement.
Both plants, which are owned by Alujain’s subsidiary, National Petrochemical Industrial Co. (NATPET), are expected to operate at full capacity within the next eight days.
NATPET said it expects the maintenance process to boost the operational efficiency of the two complexes.
The scheduled maintenance was started on April 9, 2017, Argaam earlier reported.
Alujain owns a 57.4 percent stake in NATPET.
