Saudi Deputy Crown Prince and Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman will meet Russian president Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Tuesday, state-owned Saudi Press Agency reported.
In his meetings with Putin and other high-rank officials, Prince Mohammed will discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and mutual cooperation between both countries.
The ongoing war in Syria and the Kingdom’s relationship with Iran will also be among the topics of discussion.
Prince Mohammed's business trip to Moscow comes after US President Donald Trump’s visit to Riyadh last week, in which the American President sealed an arms deal with the Kingdom worth more than $100 billion.
The Prince is also due to head to the Azerbaijani capital of Baku this week. Saudi Arabia is looking to enhance its relationship with Central Asian countries as it aims to strengthen its influence in the Muslim world and as it attracts investments for its ambitious economic reform plan.
