The value of Saudi Arabia’s oil exports declined 5.8 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 7.01 million barrels per day (mbd) in April 2017, according to latest figures from the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI).
Oil exports also dropped 3 percent in April, when compared to the previous month.
The Kingdom’s crude output fell to 9.95 mbd in the same period, remaining below 10 mbd for the second month straight.
Crude local consumption grew by 4 percent YoY to 2.94 mbd, from 2.82 mbd in the same period last year.
Monthly export figures are provided by Saudi Arabia and other OPEC members to JODI.
