Saudi telecom sector said to achieve 90% Saudization

Saudi Arabia’s telecommunications sector has achieved a 90 percent Saudization rate, Khalid bin Ali Al-Attaullah, director of policy assessment at the Kingdom’s ministry of labor and social development, said in an interview with CNBC Arabia.

While a high success rate does not mean flawless implementation, the ministry is inspecting the labor market and conducting training courses to develop performance in the telecom sector, he added.
