The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) on Tuesday won the Best Shipping Line – Breakbulk Operator award at India’s Maritime Awards 2017 in Mumbai.
The award was given to Bahri in recognition of its prominent position in the maritime sectors in both Asia and the Middle East, the shipper said in a statement.
“This accolade confirms we are on the right path to achieving our goals and strengthens our resolve to expand our presence in India, which is an important strategic market for Bahri,” said Ahmed Al-Ghaith, president of Bahri Logistics.
Recently, Bahri opened a new office in Mumbai to consolidate its presence in the fast-growing Indian maritime industry.
