Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (Go) said that the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) submitted on Tuesday a request to the Saudi Cabinet to approve the unified license fees ahead of granting the license to the company.
The telecom operator cannot currently evaluate the related financial impact, Atheeb Telecom added in a bourse statement.
The telecom market regulator halted trading in Atheeb’s shares on Wednesday upon the telco’s request, ahead of announcing a material development.
