Al Rajhi, NCB Capital broker the most deals in July

Al Rajhi Capital has maintained its position as the top brokerage firm operating in Saudi Arabia for the eight straight month in July, according to data compiled by Argaam.

The investment arm of Al Rajhi Bank brokered up to 22 percent (SAR 26.5 billion) of total market transactions on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

NCB Capital took the second position, accounting for 12.6 percent or SAR 15.2 billion of total trading value during the month.

Aljazira Capital ranked as third, brokering up to SAR 11.9 billion of total market transactions.

The combined trading value for listed firms saw an increase of SAR 12 billion month-on-month to SAR 121 billion in July.

In the Nomu parallel market, Aljazira Capital was the leading brokerage firm by market share for the fifth consecutive month in July, followed by Samba Capital.

Aljazira Capital brokered up to 19 percent, or SAR 41.8 million, of total equity transactions on Nomu. 

Meanwhile, Falcom Financial Services was the leading firm in terms of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in July, accounting for 96.4 percent (SAR 171.2 million) of total trading activity during the month.
